My name is Mark, and I founded Pinnacle Puzzles by MGC in 2019 — after spending 23 years crafting more than 10,000 hand-cut wooden jigsaw puzzles under my original brand, MGC Custom Hand-Cut Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles(est. 1996).

For over two decades, nearly 90% of the puzzles I created were custom orders. Customers sent me their personal photographs and meaningful images, and I transformed them into heirloom-quality wooden puzzles. While many of those images weren’t artistically inspiring to me personally, they held deep sentimental value to my clients — and I was honored to bring them to life.  That work paid the bills. It built my reputation. It sharpened my skills.

But something was missing.

After 23 years and more than 10,000 puzzles, I felt the pull to create something more personal — puzzles that reflected my artistic vision and passion. That desire led to the birth of Pinnacle Puzzles by MGC in January 2019. Pinnacle Puzzles represents the very best of my craft — puzzles created from artwork and imagery that I find spectacular, imaginative, and deeply engaging. These puzzles are: Tricky. Fun. Unique. Colorful. Creative. Confounding. Playful. Diabolical. Funny. They are designed not just to be assembled — but to be experienced.

At Pinnacle Puzzles Hand-Cut Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles, my goal is to create puzzles that make a positive and lasting impact. Each puzzle is designed not only to be visually beautiful and enjoyable to assemble, but also to be worthy of becoming a cherished keepsake—something that can be shared, enjoyed, and passed down through future generations of puzzle enthusiasts.

Every puzzle I create is made the traditional way—entirely by hand. Each piece is individually cut using a scroll saw fitted with an extremely fine blade approximately twice the thickness of a human hair. This meticulous process allows for intricate cuts, creative piece shapes, and a level of craftsmanship that simply cannot be replicated by automated production methods. Unlike mass-produced puzzles, my work involves no automated machinery or computer-controlled cutting systems.
